Iran announced its readiness for swap supplies of Russian gas
MOSCOW, 14 Oct – PRIME. Iran is ready for swap deliveries of Russian gas, they can take place before the end of this year, Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Ahmad Asadzade told RIA Novosti.
Iran announced the expansion of cooperation with Russia in the field of energy
Tehran hopes that Russia will coordinate this issue with Turkmenistan, through which fuel will be pumped, he added.
“We are one hundred percent ready, our infrastructure is ready, we have done all the necessary work … The ball is on the side of Russia, as we say,” the official said.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak said that the agreement on swap operations with Iran at the first stage could cover five million tons of oil and up to ten billion cubic meters of gas per year.
