Rebelión: Europe behaved like a US colony

MOSCOW, 14 Oct – PRIME. Europe, having submitted to the interests of the American military-industrial complex, behaved like a colony, writes Javier Orozco Peñaranda in an article published in the Spanish newspaper Rebelión.

According to the author, because of the obedience to Washington’s policy, unthinkable horror awaits the Europeans. He noted that the crisis manifests itself in the lack of energy and food. European citizens, if they do not wake up, will soon have nothing to eat, Peñaranda stressed.

As the article adds, the EU has also cut social investment and postponed energy model reforms for America’s “imperialist needs.”

In addition, a serious problem for the region is associated with gas supplies. Peñaranda recalled the recent emergency at the Nord Stream, intended for the transit of “blue fuel” bypassing Ukraine. The organizers of the sabotage, the author pointed out, expect to “shove American gas into Europe.”

According to Penaranda, the current policy of European leaders is leading to massive impoverishment of citizens, the destruction of industry and the end of the welfare state.
