Iraq hopes oil market stabilizes thanks to OPEC+ decision


MOSCOW, 6 Oct — PRIME. Iraq hopes that the OPEC+ decision to cut production by two million barrels per day will contribute to stability in the global oil market and support prices. This was reported on Wednesday by the state news agency, citing Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar.

“Stop pumping”: OPEC + will shut off oil taps
According to him, Iraq is striving to adhere to the target level of production agreed by the OPEC countries in July 2021.
Abdul Jabbar also emphasized that the OPEC+ production cut would not affect exports from Iraq.
