January ends, and Nvidia did not comply with the announcement of the RTX 3090 Ti "before the end of the month"

During CES 2022, Jeff Fischer promised that NVIDIA would have more details about its next RTX 3090 Ti GPU in January, however, we are at the 31st of that month, already closing the day and we have no news.

We don’t know anything officially about this new card, except for what was already said at CES 2022. The company did not confirm the price or the release date, which was supposed to be on January 27.

Currently, many reviewers are waiting for their samples, which were unexpectedly cancelled. The companies had said that the samples would be sent last Monday, but that did not happen.

In mid-January, news broke that NVIDIA asked all partners to stop production of their custom models. The company found some related problems with hardware/BIOS. However, we did not know anything more about this this problem.

The RTX 3090 Ti has a full GA102 GPU with 10752 CUDA cores. This is also the first NVIDIA GPU to feature 24GB of GDDR6X and 21Gbps of memory. With a 384-bit memory bus, this card will provide up to 1TB/s of bandwidth. This spec upgrade comes at a cost, plus power consumption, which reportedly tops out at 450W by default. NVIDIA’s reference model will be powered by the new 16-pin PCIe Gen5 power connectors, but partners are also expected to implement this.

We hope to have some news soon and to be able to inform you about this card.
