Links to Founders Edition cards disappeared from NVIDIA website

The shortage of video cards continues to gain momentum. Igor Vallossek from Igor’s lab noticed to a rather curious fact: any links to the purchase of video cards of the reference design Founders Edition have disappeared from the official website of NVIDIA. Instead, they are now offering to buy options from OEM partners through official retailers at significantly higher prices.

This could indicate the discontinuation of the RTX 3000 reference design graphics cards, which will lead to an even greater shortage. It should be noted, however, that in most of the retail stores available through the links, video cards are simply not available.

For example, those who want to buy an RTX 3090 on the site are offered a choice of 18 models with a price of 145 to 195 thousand rubles (instead of the recommended 136,990 rubles). But in reality, the cards cannot be obtained even at such prices, because the real price tags of the RTX 3090 are now in the region of 200-250 thousand rubles (according to Yandex Market data). Well, the cheaper RTX 3080 model cannot be found in any store at all, since their reserves were completely sold out by miners.
