MINSK, 6 Oct – PRIME. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the future price of oil and gas supplies to the country will not be worse than this year.
“Oil and gas prices… I told you: it won’t be worse than this year. Work!” Lukashenka said at a meeting with the government on the price situation. An excerpt from the meeting was shown by the STV channel.
Later, the TV channel “Belarus 1” showed a fragment of the meeting, where Lukashenka says that the specific level of oil and gas prices for next year has not yet been determined. “I don’t know what the prices for oil and gas will be next year, but I will do everything so that the situation is not worse than this year. While there, in the West, there will be crazy prices,” Lukashenka promised officials.
He noted that under such conditions, Belarusian products will be competitive.
