Manturov spoke about the progress of import substitution in the oil and gas sector
TYUMEN, September 21 — PRIME. The share of Russian equipment in the Russian oil and gas industry will reach almost 80% by 2025, according to Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, he said this during the plenary sessions at the Industrial and Energy Forum.
Manturov assessed the opportunities to increase the export of Russian fertilizers
Manturov noted that now the share of Russian equipment in the oil and gas sector is 60%. “We started in 2014 at a level of just over 40% technological independence in oil and gas engineering as a whole,” he recalled.
“We expect to reach parameters closer to 80% in terms of technological independence by 2025. There are prerequisites for this, the foundation has been created, we will continue this work with companies,” he also said.
