MOSCOW, 14 Oct – PRIME. The desire of the majority of Poles to continue the anti-Russian sanctions policy against the background of the energy crisis testifies to their stupidity, says Myśl Polska columnist Przemysław Piasta.
Polish operator of the Druzhba oil pipeline began repairing a damaged line
According to a survey by the SW Research agency, 60% of Poles opposed the weakening or complete abolition of restrictions on Russia in the face of rising energy prices, 16% – in favor, 25% – found it difficult to answer, the author cites.
As the observer noted, the aggravation of the crisis in Europe will lead Poland to an economic disaster. He stressed that Warsaw at the moment, as in other cases throughout history, does not adequately assess the threat.
“Each time ended in spectacular suicide,” Piasta said.
The author added that in such a situation, the lack of fear among citizens is a sign of a mental disorder.
