MOSCOW, 3 Oct — PRIME. World energy uncertainty can last long enough, said Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of the Russian Security Council.
The European Commission does not plan to put forward new proposals for energy meters
“Against the background of the rising cost of resources, as a result, by the way, of the sanctions against our country, everything turned around to a large extent by 180 degrees. In fact, the world is going through an energy crisis. Therefore, our approaches in this area should be directed to the future. But they should take into account the current situation, since we understand that such energy uncertainty can last quite a long time,” the politician said during a meeting of the presidium of the Presidential Council for Science and Education on Monday.
Medvedev added that the focus of the modern environmental agenda is shifting due to changes in the energy market.
