Microsoft is becoming more and more enthusiastic about the Ethereum network. Forbes recently published that Microsoft is going to test with a new platform to easily create tokens. In the first instance, these are tokens on a locked blockchain from Azure. Later Microsoft wants to use the Ethereum blockchain.

Connected to the Ethereum Alliance
Microsoft has been connected to the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance since 2017. This is a collaboration between Ethereum and various other large companies, including Intel, Hyperledger and Banco Santander.
This collaboration, together with the ICO hype, led to a major leap in the course of ether in 2017 and 2018. Ether rose from 7 euros to almost 1,400 euros. An astronomical increase of more than 19,000 percent.
What does Microsoft news do with the rate?
The last days are going well with the course of ether. In two days the rate has risen from 161 euros to 174.80 euros. An increase of almost nine percent!
But it is unclear whether this is due to Microsoft. Other crypto coins have also been doing well since 4 November. Litecoin, for example, has risen sharply, and stellar has even risen by 35 percent. But who knows, the new Microsoft service may be good for Ethereum in the future, both for ease of use and for the course.
In that respect, Microsoft has a big finger in the porridge of cryptocurrencys. They have been the owners of GitHub for a while now.
