MSI Geforce GTX 1070 Gaming Z

This time we are going to take a look at a graphics card from Taiwanese MSI. The model sitting in the test bench today is nothing less than the fastest Geforce GTX 1070 that MSI has to offer.

The graphics card comes with version six of the company’s Twinfrozr cooler and in addition to the configurable RGB lighting. The radiator should be the best MSI has to offer with both high performance and low noise level. Whether this is true remains to be seen.

MSI has released three different models in their “Gaming” series – Gaming (without X / Z), Gaming X and Gaming Z. Gaming shipped without a back plate and with lower frequencies on the GPU while Gaming X comes with RGB lighting and slightly increased frequencies.

Gaming Z comes with the same features and appearance as Gaming X, but adds an extra logo to the card’s back plate with RGB and has fully inflated frequencies.
