MSI Radeon R9 Fury X in Swedish price listing

After Nvidia has long been allowed to rule undisturbed in the enthusiast segment, AMD will tomorrow counter with the new flagship Radeon R9 Fury X. Most of the graphics card is already known and the last real question mark that remains for Swedish consumers is the price picture.

In US dollars, the Radeon R9 Fury X has a recommended price of $ 649, which is exactly the same as for the Geforce GTX 980 Ti. That the two models can fight over consumers’ wallets also in the Nordic countries is now confirmed by the retailer Multitronic, which lists the graphics card for SEK 7,407 including VAT.

The list price is a few hundred bucks lower than the Geforce GTX 980 Ti with third-party coolers, which often step up to the SEK 8,000 mark. It is worth mentioning, however, that Nvidia’s graphics cards are available for purchase for as little as SEK 6,990, but this is with the green graphics giant’s reference cooler. This while AMD’s approaching model has a lavish closed water cooler as standard.

The launch of the Radeon R9 Fury X will take place tomorrow, June 24.
