MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost finds out on the web

The Vega architecture marked AMD’s return to the high-performance graphics card segment. The first to hit the market was the Radeon RX Vega 64 on August 14, closely followed by the little brother RX Vega 56. At first, only the reference variant was available, but partner manufacturers announced that tailor-made models were underway.

Asus was early in unveiling the company’s ROG Strix cooler for Vega, and now MSI is hooking up with the Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost model. It is a closed radiator hood where a radial fan moves the hot air out of the chassis, which can be an advantage in compact computer systems.

In an attempt to achieve higher cooling performance than the reference model, MSI has punched out larger holes in the I / O plate for increased air flow. No clock frequencies are presented, but the number of image outputs can be easily distinguished on the images. It offers three full-size Displayports and an HDMI output.

When the Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost may appear in stores is still unknown, but according to Videocardz, this will be the only custom graphics card MSI offers in the near future. The availability of third-party solutions of the Radeon RX Vega has so far been very low, a situation that may persist until November.
