Nasdaq adds CIX100 index for 100 cryptocurrencies

One of the largest US stock exchanges, Nasdaq, has added the CIX100 index based on artificial intelligence (AI), developed by the analytical platform Cryptoindex.com.

Using neural network algorithms, the CIX100 allows you to track data from more than 100 major cryptocurrencies and takes into account over 200 factors, which eliminates digital assets with artificially inflated cost and ratings. Data is collected on the nine largest cryptocurrency exchanges. In addition, the results of multi-million dollar transactions and information from news releases and social networks are analyzed.

Particular attention is paid to cryptocurrencies, which are most in demand on exchanges and hold their positions in the TOP-200 for at least three months. At the same time, AI is used to process such a large amount of data. CIX100 was launched in May 2017 and has already been added to the analytical services Reuters, Bloomberg and TradingView, which provide traders with information about events in the cryptocurrency market and graphs of the movement of the course.

“In the modern world, data is the most valuable product, so Cryptoindex CIX100 integration speaks of the desire to introduce the latest technologies,” said Stan Bokov, Strategic Development Director at TradingView.

Recall that at the beginning of the year, Nasdaq added the indices of the New Zealand company Brave New Coin for BTC and ETH, and in May began to track the movement of the XRP rate. In September this year, Nasdaq added the DeFix tool for the decentralized finance industry, which allows real-time exchange rate data to be obtained from Augur and MakerDAO.
