Nvidia confirms event on May 6 – live on Twitch

The fact that the graphics family Pascal is approaching is hardly news to SweClocker’s readers. Rumors and leaks have replaced each other in recent months, with the GP104 and GP106 circuits being the hottest candidates for a very imminent launch.

Now the graphics giant confirms that something is going on. Just as rumored, Nvidia is holding an event for invited media, which kicks off on Friday, May 6, US time. The event is broadcast live via Twitch starting at 18:00 PST – the time 03:00 on 7 May Swedish time.

Interestingly enough, the time does not match the advertising campaign Order of 10 that the green team launched last week. The associated website counts down to Friday, May 6 at 19:00 – long before the live broadcast starts. This may indicate that a possible launch will take place earlier in the day.

Friday, May 6, however, is not just about new graphics cards. EA and DICE also offer live coverage for the unveiling of the next title in the Battlefield series. That event kicks off at 22:00 Swedish time.
