Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti for laptops beats GTX 970M

With the energy efficiency in the bow, Pascal is taking its place in the portable market with information, where the Geforce GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and GTX 1060 models were first out. Now it’s also time for the newly launched Geforce GTX 1050 Ti to settle in here and take the architecture to lower priced models.

Prior to publication, Laptopmedia publishes details for the portable variant. In terms of specifications, the Geforce GTX 1050 Ti is reminiscent of its stationary ditto, with 768 CUDA cores at 1,290 MHz and 1,490 MHz at base and boost respectively. This is accompanied by 4 GB of GDDR5 memory at 7,000 MHz over a 128-bit memory bus for a bandwidth of 112 GB / s.

Although the graphics card is aimed at lower price ranges, the performance is stated to be significantly better than the previous generation performance cards Geforce GTX 960M, GTX 965M and GTX 970M. In 3DMark and Unigine Heaven, the upcoming model GTX 960M beats by up to 86 percent, GTX 965M by up to 46 percent and enthusiast circle GTX 970M by up to 10 percent.

The segment in which the graphics card is intended to be used is not yet known, but it is likely that it will be a direct replacement for the Geforce GTX 965M and GTX 960M. According to the report, the GTX 1050 Ti for laptops is expected to be launched in early 2017, but may also appear by the end of 2016.
