Autumn and winter have been lined with graphics card launches from Nvidia, where the fresh architecture Turing has made a journey from the absolute performance peak with the Geforce RTX 2080 Ti down to the upper middle class with the Geforce RTX 2060. To reach the next stick down on the performance and price steps need however, the company resorted to more drastic circuit design methods.
In honor of the day, we welcome the graphics circuit TU116, a completely new Turing-based building without lasting RT cores for ray tracing or Tensor cores for machine learning. The circuit takes place in the newcomer Geforce GTX 1660 Ti, which according to the green team themselves will offer competitive performance in the middle class with unbeatable energy efficiency.
