Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Ti with two fans in reference design finds its way to the web

Nvidia’s next generation of consumer-oriented graphics cards will be based on the Turing architecture, and recently a steady stream of images and rumors about the products has flowed. A plethora of images on the Geforce RTX 2080 cards and the flagship model RTX 2080 Ti have been found on the web, where the images come from manufacturers such as PNY, MSI and Gigabyte.

Now Videocardz publishes another image, and this time it is reportedly the Geforce RTX 2080 Ti in reference version. The card in the picture is equipped with two fans and thus differs from Nvidia’s previous reference cooler, which used a single radial fan that dumped the hot air outside the chassis.

Earlier this month, reports circulated that the traditional radiator would be replaced by a two-fan solution for Turing products, which now looks set to become a reality. The graphics card in the picture uses two axial fans, which is also the case for many partner-made models. The surrounding cover is in black with silver details, which are accompanied by a Geforce RTX logo in green.

The launch of the Geforce RTX 2000 series is expected to take place during a Geforce event hosted by Nvidia, which kicks off at 18:00 on 20 August. SweClockers has previously reported that Geforce RTX 2080 can be pre-booked at Swedish retailers in connection with the event.
