Nvidia Introduces Creator Ready Drivers - Drivers for Digital Creation

For a long time now, both Nvidia and AMD have been in the habit of releasing new drivers in connection with major game releases on PC. The driver versions have the suffix Game Ready and as the name suggests, they mean optimizations and official support for the current games.

Now the company is introducing a new concept they call Creator Ready Drivers, which are drivers adapted for productivity. They target a target group that includes game developers as well as others who use software to create content of various kinds. The drivers come with optimizations specifically for these software, and these include Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Maya.

The first driver with the Creator Ready Drivers label comes with optimizations for, among other things, Autodesk software, which can use the RTX graphics cards for rendering with ray tracing. In addition, there are specific optimizations for the Geforce RTX 2080, with up to 9 percent better performance in both Adobe Photoshop CC and Premiere Pro CC.

The driver has version number 419.67 and is available for download via Nvidia’s official website and through the Geforce Experience software. Nvidia announces that the Creator Ready drivers will also receive the same game optimizations as the Game Ready versions.
