Nvidia lowers price on Geforce GTX 1070

Earlier this month, Nvidia officially announced its latest graphics card, the Geforce GTX 1070 Ti. This after pictures of the model from several manufacturers found out on the web, including Gigabyte and EVGA.

Something that many have reacted to is the price for the Geforce GTX 1070 Ti, which is very close to the more powerful model Geforce GTX 1080. To alleviate this somewhat, Nvidia has now chosen to lower the price for the GTX 1070, where the price for the reference model Founders Edition is now the equivalent SEK 4,200 including VAT.

Nvidia itself has not released information about the price reduction, but this can be seen on the company’s website. This is also expected to mean that models from partner manufacturers will be cheaper, but what the new price for these will be is currently unknown.

Geforce GTX 1070 Ti is available for pre-booking now and will be launched in stores on November 2. The Founders Edition variant of the model has a recommended price of SEK 4,799 including VAT.

Update 16:30: After publication, Nvidia contacted SweClocker’s editorial staff and announced that they did not lower the price of the $ 399 Geforce GTX 1070 Founder’s Edition. At the same time, Techarp reports that the partner manufacturer’s GTX 1070 has received a new recommended price from $ 329, something that has not yet been confirmed.
