Ahead of the launch of Bioshock Infinite, which will be released on March 26, Nvidia is releasing a new driver for all modern Geforce. The new software is called Geforce Drivers 314.22 and is equipped with Microsoft’s WHQL stamp. Among the news is improved performance in a plethora of different game titles.
In the change log, Nvidia notes significant improvements in frame rates. For Bioshock Infinite, it is up to 41 percent better performance at 2560 x 1600 pixels and the graphics settings Ultra / DX11 with a single Geforce GTX 680. In the case of Tomb Raider, as much as 61 percent more frames per second apply. This compares with the older Geforce Drivers 314.07 WHQL.
In addition, there are updated SLI profiles for Bioshock Infinite, Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army and Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter, as well as 3D Vision profiles for MUD, Brutal Legend and Tomb Raider.
Geforce Drivers 314.22 is available for download from Geforce.com and is compatible with Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
