Nvidia Releases Geforce Experience 2.0 with Desktop Capture

Nvidia is releasing a new beta-labeled driver that will provide better performance on all sides. Geforce Drivers 337.50 Beta is introduced with promises of up to 64 percent higher frame rate with a single graphics processor and as much as 74 percent in SLI, but in the usual order it is fine print that the numbers vary depending on the game and system configuration.

However, the new driver is not just about performance. At the same time, Geforce Experience 2.0 is introduced, which is primarily for automatic adjustment of quality settings and download of updated drivers, but is now also gifted with more features.

The new version expands the Shadowplay recording function with the ability to capture the screenshot from the desktop, for example for games in windows. At the same time, there will be more settings for video coding and it is now possible to set any resolution, frame rate and bit rate.

Shadowplay Capture, Shadow mode and streaming video for Twitch are also introduced for laptops with graphics parts from the Geforce series. However, the ability to record from the desktop via Desktop Capture is missing here.

Last but not least is the Gamestream Remote, which makes it possible to stream games from a personal computer to Nvidia’s handheld game console Shield. In Geforce Experience 2.0, this feature should not only work on the local network but also via the Internet.

Geforce Drivers 337.50 is available for download from the Nvidia website.
