Nvidia tells more about the next generation of graphics cards in August

In March 2018, Nvidia’s latest graphics card for consumers, the Geforce GTX 1080 Ti, turned one year old and apart from the launch of Titan V, it has been relatively quiet from the company’s side. However, rumors have been rife in recent times, and it is rumored that Nvidia plans to launch new graphics cards in July this year.

Every year, the industry conference Hot Chips is held and among the participants is a glimpse of Nvidia, which will talk about the next generation of graphics cards for consumers. Stuart Oberman, Nvidia’s graphics manager, will be present, and the presentation is expected to focus on more in-depth details of the underlying technology and architecture.

The presentation under Hot Chips confirms previous information about a launch in July, as a first unveiling during the conference is considered relatively incredible. It is said that the Founders Edition variant of a model will be the first to be released and that it is based on Nvidia’s new architecture Turing. The name of this is still unknown, but is believed to be Geforce GTX 1180.
