Nvidia’s upcoming Geforce graphics card is cooled by dual fans

Recently, rumors of the impending launch of Nvidia’s consumer-focused Geforce graphics card have been pouring in. The company has promised a surprise with a Geforce connection ahead of this year’s edition of Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, but whether these are new graphics cards is still unknown.

Additional information about the upcoming products is now being added through the Chinese website Benchlife. In a post about the circuit board for the upcoming Geforce GTX 1180 or GTX 2080, the author mentions the cooling for the reference model, where the replacement for the Geforce GTX 1080 may be equipped with dual fans.

Nvidia’s reference graphics cards have long been equipped with a single radial fan, which blows air over a heat sink and further out of the chassis. More competent cooling solutions have instead been found with third-party manufacturers, where open air coolers with two or more fans are common.

The release time of the next-generation NVIDIA graphics card will not be far away. Players will be able to see the information about the new graphics card in September.

Whether the information is correct or not remains to be seen, and through the online magazine Sohu, the manufacturer Galax says that the cards will be available in September. An exact launch date is still unknown, as is the name of the Geforce family and the graphics architecture to be used.
