Peskov called the priority of “Gazprom” providing Russia with resources
MOSCOW, September 5 – PRIME. Gazprom’s absolute priority is to provide resources for the Russian economy, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, told reporters.
Peskov spoke about the response to the ceiling of prices for Russian oil
“Providing Gazprom with resources for the Russian economy has always been an absolute priority, and the whole system is built in such a way that the needs of the Russian economy and Russian consumers are met first of all,” Peskov said, answering the question of whether negative consequences are expected for the Russian economy after how Gazprom will have to reduce resource extraction
First of all, the needs of social facilities, citizens, as well as industry are met, he noted.
