Peskov commented on the provision of clarifications to the IAEA on the ZNPP

MOSCOW, 15 Sep — PRIME. The Kremlin does not know if the IAEA has provided clarifications on the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, said.

Patrushev: US provides data to Kyiv for the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant
“I don’t know about it, I don’t know. The IAEA employees remain at this station there,” he said.
Earlier it was reported that Russian leader Vladimir Putin and UN Secretary General António Guterres discussed the situation around the Zaporozhye NPP, including in the context of the results of its visit on September 1 by the IAEA delegation. The President also spoke about Russia’s measures to protect the plant’s facilities.
ZNPP is located on the left bank of the Dnieper near Energodar. This is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity. Since March, it has been guarded by the Russian military to prevent leaks of nuclear and radioactive materials.
The Ukrainian military continues to regularly shell Energodar, the surrounding villages and the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant adjacent to the city.
