Poland considers all possible causes of the accident at the Druzhba oil pipeline
MOSCOW, 12 Oct — PRIME. The Polish authorities are considering all possible causes of the accident at the Druzhba oil pipeline, Stanislav Zharin, the government’s authorized representative for the security of the information space, said.
The media called the possible cause of the leak at the Druzhba oil pipeline
“So far there is no reason to talk about the causes of the accident. All hypotheses are possible,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
The cause of the leak is under investigation, he said.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Polish operator of the Druzhba oil pipeline reported a leak on one of the lines of the pipeline. This pipeline is the main route for oil supplies to Germany.
Polish government commissioner for strategic energy infrastructure Mateusz Berger told Reuters that the incident could have been caused by accidental damage rather than deliberate sabotage.
