Qatar and Germany stressed the importance of efforts to reach an agreement with Iran

DOHA, Sep 25 – PRIME Qatar and Germany have agreed to support efforts to reach an agreement on Iran’s atomic dossier, Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani said on Sunday during a joint briefing with the German chancellor in Doha.

“We agreed with the German Chancellor on the importance of supporting efforts to reach an agreement on the atomic dossier with Iran. Reaching an agreement with Iran on its nuclear program will help strengthen security and stability in the region, which will open up opportunities for dialogue among the countries of the region in order to achieve regional security” Al Thani said.

According to him, during the discussion of regional and international problems with the German Chancellor, they stated the need to resolve conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz makes a visit to the countries of the Persian Gulf. On Saturday, he visited Saudi Arabia during the celebrations of the 92nd anniversary of the formation of the kingdom in its present form. On Sunday, during a visit to the UAE, the Emirati company ADNOC signed an agreement with the German RWE AG for the supply of liquefied natural gas to Germany.
