Representative of Rosatom showed Zaporozhye NPP to the IAEA mission

ENERGODAR, 1 sen — PRIME. A representative of Rosatom showed the IAEA missions, including the head of the organization, Rafael Grossi, the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, a RIA Novosti correspondent said on Thursday.

The head of the Rosatom delegation and employees of the Zaporizhzhya NPP led the IAEA delegation through its territory and showed the sections of the station that had been damaged during the shelling of Ukrainian troops.

A Rosatom representative told the IAEA director general that, judging by the location of the shelling traces, the fire on the Zaporizhzhya NPP was fired by the Ukrainian side, including from the Nikopol region. He also showed Grossi the so-called block pumping stations located outside the nuclear power plant’s defense perimeter, and noted that these were technological violations that the Russian side had nothing to do with.

The IAEA on Thursday announced the arrival of its mission led by Director General Rafael Grossi to the Zaporozhye NPP.
