Rostec has developed a mobile solution to search for stolen cars

MOSCOW, September 13 – PRIME. Rostec has developed the first mobile solution to search for stolen or wanted cars, the company’s press service reported.

Roselectronics Holding of the Rostec State Corporation has developed the first mobile solution in Russia for detecting stolen or wanted cars in traffic, as well as deregistered ones. The Rozysk-Nano hardware and software system is installed in a patrol car, recognizes state registration plates (GRZ) of vehicles and checks them in real time against databases.The complex also interacts with the vehicle search system of the traffic police of Russia “Pautina”, – is specified in the release.

It is noted that Rozysk-Nano includes a video surveillance module for installation in a patrol car, a tablet and software. The video module recognizes the GRZ at a distance of 100-150 meters and can be used on the move. Processing of video data and license plate recognition is performed by the processor of the device. The hardware-software complex is easy to install, its installation does not require changes in the structure of the patrol car.

The Rozysk-Nano mobile solution was developed by the Meteor plant (part of Ruselectronics) together with Digital Region JSC. Rostec reports that the production of equipment is planned to be deployed at the production facilities of the plant. Pilot operation of the new equipment will be carried out this year in the Volgograd region.
