Rostelecom will close all communication stores

MOSCOW, 6 Oct — PRIME. The Russian provider Rostelecom is completing the transfer of customers to a remote format and is gradually closing communication stores, the last of which will be closed in October, the company told RIA Novosti.

The transition to a new model of customer service lasted several years, sales and service centers were closed gradually, and in October 2022 the last salons will be closed.

The company noted that almost 100% of customers prefer digital service channels, and the share of customers visiting the operator’s offices is 0.01%. “At the same time, about 70% of personal calls to salons are related to paying for and connecting services, obtaining information about current tariffs, buying equipment – all services and specialist assistance are available online (personal account on the website and in the mobile application, chat, hotline )”, is added in the message.

As of the end of 2018, Rostelecom’s retail network included more than 800 sales and service centers in 79 regions of Russia.
