If you believe the information provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia is currently suffering from such great logistical problems that the only such Russian plant located in Nizhny Tagil has stopped producing tanks. Quite. Reason? He’s just running out of parts.
Due to sanctions, the only Russian plant stopped producing tanks
Temporary cessation of production at the Uralvagonzavod plant, responsible for, inter alia, The production of T-72B3M tanks is not surprising at all. After huge sanctions imposed on Russia by virtually all the most important countries in the world, the supply of the entire mass of necessary components for the production of tanks was simply stopped. Russia apparently did not prepare for such an eventuality, and it could, if it had taken care in advance of the development of its own production sector, which would not be sensitive to cutting off supplies from other countries.

Despite the fact that this plant has stopped producing tanks (read: modernizing the older ones except the T90M), it probably cannot carry out repairs needed during the war, which further aggravates the problem of the Russian military. The effect of the sanctions aimed at targeting Russia’s military sector is therefore visible to the naked eye, and it is good, because the more such information, the greater the chances that the war will be ended as soon as possible.
