Softline acquired an Indian cybersecurity company

MOSCOW, 10 Oct – PRIME. Softline Group, an information technology services provider, has acquired Indian information services and cybersecurity company Value Point Systems in a deal that will strengthen business operations in India, the organization said.

“Softline… today announces the signing of an agreement to acquire Indian digital infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions and services company Value Point Systems. The transaction will strengthen Softline’s business operations and capabilities in cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, managed solutions and services in India,” – the message says.

It is clarified that thanks to the deal, 2,000 customers of Value Point Systems will now have access to the full portfolio of solutions and services provided by Softline. In addition, more than 800 highly qualified digital engineers will move to the Softline division.

According to Softline International CEO Herve Tessler, India’s Value Point Systems is the company’s fourth acquisition in 2022. As Tessler noted, the company’s goal is to turn the Indian subsidiary into a $1 billion business through “rapid organic growth and the success of companies like Value Point Systems.”
