Test – Corsair HX750 – Config Board
| Specs | Price

Hi all!

Back to Corsair once again for the test of their last power supply, the HX750! The HX range is now quite old and therefore had a good bunch of different models and different 80Plus certifications. Here the latest HX750 is a 750 Watts model (surprisingly!) Totally modular, with hybrid ventilation (fanless up to a certain temperature and / or consumption) and equipped with 80Platinum certification. Offered at a price of around 150 €, it is the cheapest of the 750 Watts 80Plus Platinum power supplies, perhaps a good plan for those who want high-end, if the tests are conclusive!

Here not really anything to show off, the box takes up the colors of what Corsair has been doing for some time now with a mixture of black and yellow. There is a photo of the beast as well as of course the logo of the brand and the model. You can also see the various 80Plus Platinum logos as well as the 10 year warranty. A small list of strengths is also present, 100% Japanese certified 105 ° capacitors, Platinum certification, hybrid ventilation mode, etc.

At the rear in addition to another listing of the highlights are the efficiency curve, that of the ventilation as well as a table of the power distribution. High-end requires we see that of the 750 Watts for which the beast is sold there are indeed 750 Watts available on the 12V, a good point.

On the edge a listing of the available connectors, which is always good to know when buying a power supply, at least there will be no surprises!

When opening the box we find the manual placed on a thick foam which will protect the power supply as it should. On the right a bag containing the cables and the rest of the bundle. Transportation shouldn’t be a problem for the HX750.

Here is the bundle, a bag containing the modular cables, a power cord, plastic cable ties, the various manuals as well as the necessary screws and a small logo to stick on its tower 😉. So there is everything you need to connect the beast without problems.
