The AMD Radeon 300 series will be launched during the third quarter of the year – unveiled at Computex

Since last autumn, Nvidia has had a free rein in the performance segment and in the spring the company can release the Geforce GTX 980 Ti, with even higher performance than their recently launched GTX Titan X. In silence, AMD continues to work on the Radeon 300 series to meet the competition and according to previous information, the launch is not far away.

So as I look forward, we’re launching Carrizo on the APU side and we’re also launching some graphics products in the second half of this year.

During AMD’s quarterly report, Lisa Su talks about what can be expected to lift the company’s financial results in the future and talks loudly about the processor platform Carrizo, but also that new graphics products will be launched during the second half of the year. This is confirmed in information to SweClockers, which speaks for store availability around the month of August or in connection with the start of school.

I’ve talked about Carrizo being a strong product for us, I talked about some of our graphics launches that we’ll talk about later this quarter.

However, AMD does not intend to wait until late summer, but will tell you more about their upcoming graphics launches later this quarter, which runs from April to June. This is also in line with the editorial board’s information, which states that AMD will launch a paper during Computex 2015 in early June.

Despite the fact that in any case the unveiling is not far in time, concrete information about the Radeon 300 series is thin-skinned. In addition to the flagship Radeon R9 390X with the Fiji graphics processor and stacked HBM memory, it is unclear what lower price ranges will look like, but there are many indications that the graphics family will largely consist of renamed graphics cards from previous generations.
