At the intersection of IT and medicine today there are “fantastically breakthrough” technologies that allow doctors to diagnose diseases in a timely manner, including at a distance, as well as biodevelopment, Alexander Zaverzaev, adviser to the president of Mercator Holding, told the Prime agency at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) .

“Biomedicine is developing actively in general. This year, our scientists presented an innovative 3-D bioprinter, with the technology of three-dimensional bioprinting of organs and tissues of the human body,” he said.

Artificial intelligence (AI) can be used, among other things, to diagnose and detect diseases, and the bias towards telemedicine actively contributes to the development of so-called personal medical assistants. We are talking about systems for supporting medical decisions and systems for collecting information in a single window with the formation of digital twins (avatars) of a person.

Separately, it is worth noting the technologies of neurointerfaces, which allow you to capture brain waves and mentally control various devices, such as prostheses.

Another direction of the market is the creation and development of devices (wearable, wearable) for remote diagnosis of diseases. This allows to preserve the health of the population and popularizes personalized medicine.

The mass introduction of such technologies is possible with the support of the state and proper medical regulation.

“A huge amount of data has been collected: from primary information to historical arrays. And how to use this data so as not to harm a person and give a complete picture of his health, the practice of introducing it into various sectors of the market will show,” Zaverzaev concluded.
