The fifth power unit of the Zaporozhye NPP was stopped due to shelling
SIMFEROPOL, 1 Sep — PRIME. The fifth power unit of the Zaporozhye NPP was stopped after the start of shelling of the plant on Thursday morning, the head of the administration of the Zaporizhzhya region Yevhen Balitsky said on the air of Channel One.
Russia expects an objective assessment of the situation at the ZNPP from the IAEA, Lavrov said
“Unfortunately, the fifth power unit is not working for us. We had to stop it,” he said.
According to him, the stop occurred due to damage to the power lines. The sixth power unit remains in operation, operating at 60% capacity.
