MOSCOW, 16 Sep — PRIME. The temperature in the house at 17 degrees is normal for the body, and it is quite possible to get used to it, said Anna Moskva, Minister of Climate and Environment of Poland, in an interview with Radio ZET.
According to her, all households should have been saving on energy for a long time, following the measures taken by the country’s authorities. “I mean electricity, water – savings in general. We have a lot to learn when it comes to good habits: turning off lights and chargers, heating at lower temperatures both at home and in public places where we still see open windows, thermostats need to be hung higher,” she said.
The minister also called for “replacing light bulbs”. “I believe that every household can do this – pass such an examination of conscience and accept the program,” she stressed.
When asked what the minister herself did in this direction, she replied that she lowered the temperature in the house “much earlier”. When asked how many degrees in her home, she replied: “17 degrees in common areas and 19 degrees in more frequented rooms,” adding that such conditions can be used. “For the body, this is normal air temperature,” Moscow concluded.
