MOSCOW, 31 Aug — PRIME. The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, said that his mission at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is to prevent a nuclear accident and save the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, Agence France-Presse reported.
Media: the visit of the IAEA mission to the Zaporozhye NPP was complicated because of Ukraine
“My mission … is to prevent a nuclear accident and save the largest nuclear power plant in Europe,” he said.
Earlier it became known that the IAEA team of 14 people arrived in the city of Zaporozhye at about 14.00 Moscow time.
On the eve of the arrival of the IAEA commission over the past day, Energodar was subjected to more than 60 Ukrainian strikes by drones and artillery, the city authorities said.
