MOSCOW, 7 Sep — PRIME. The US Department of Energy lowered the forecast for average oil production in the country for the current year by 70,000 barrels per day, to 11.79 million, and for the next year, also by 70,000 barrels, to 12.63 million barrels per day, follows from the data of the monthly short-term the ministry’s Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecast.
US Department of Energy lowers Brent oil price forecast for 2022
In August, the Ministry of Energy lowered its forecast for the current year by 50,000 barrels per day, to 11.86 million, and for 2023, by 70,000 barrels per day, to 12.7 million barrels per day, respectively.
The estimate of US oil production in 2021 remained at 11.25 million barrels per day.
