Three of Russia's nuclear-powered submarines will soon enter service

The Russian Press Agency TASS has just announced that the Russian Navy will soon be enriched by three submarines powered by nuclear power. I am talking not about the construction itself, but about the tests, after which the whole trio will go into service.

Russia’s new submarines will be completed soon and will enter service

You’ve heard about these nuclear-powered submarines by now. We are talking about works belonging to completely different classes, such as K-329 Belgorod of the 949AM project, K-573 Novosibirsk of the 885M project and Knyaz Oleg of the Borei-A class. Of the three, evidently the most impressive is the first, which is capable of carrying Poseidon torpedoes, but the others are also impressive, with Knyaz Oleg being an example of a ballistic missile ship.

Here comes the turn of Novosibirsk, Knyaz Oleg and Belgorod. Submarines went out to sea a few more times for factory and commissioning tests by the end of the year. All work is going according to schedule. Submarines work properly and prove their abilities

– Sevmash Shipyard CEO Mikhail Budnichenko told TASS.

In other words, by the end of 2021, the Russian navy will receive three new submarines, which, of course, will not be the last ones, because the state has already commissioned the construction of two new Borei-A class works, under which the keels have already been laid.
