Whatsapp users are experiencing major disruptions

MOSCOW, 25 Oct — PRIME. WhatsApp users in different countries have experienced a large-scale disruption to the service, according to data on the Downdetector website, which monitors failures and outages on popular Internet resources.

Network failure occurred at about 10.00 Moscow time. The largest number of complaints comes from Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Italy – 58.6 thousand, 60.2 thousand, 26.6 thousand and 13.1 thousand, respectively. There are also reports of failures from France, Spain, Sweden, Greece.

Most users complain about sending messages, there are also complaints about the connection to the server and the application.

WhatsApp is an application owned by Meta* (Meta’s activities are banned in Russia as extremist) that allows you to send and receive messages, calls, photos, videos, documents, and voice messages.
