MOSCOW, 12 Sep — PRIME. Gas supply to the Zaporozhye region will be restored before the start of the heating season, by October 15, said the head of the regional administration Yevgeny Balitsky on the air of Rossiya 24.

“At the moment, we are connecting Berdyansk, on September 15 Donbassgaz will connect, the entire east of our region will be supplied with gas. Then the pipe will be laid, and we expect the pipe to be completed by October 15, before the start of the heating season,” he said.
Gas supply to Berdyansk was disrupted due to damage to the gas infrastructure in March. Later, Ukraine cut off the gas supply to the rest of the liberated part of the region.
