Zotac releases Geforce GTX 580 Infinity Edition with water cooling from Coolit

Zotac Geforce GTX 580 Infinity Edition is the name of a new graphics card equipped with the Coolit Omni water cooling system. This means that the graphics processor, memory modules and voltage regulation are covered by a flat water block which in turn is connected to a radiator with an integrated water pump – all in a single closed system.

The new graphics card is based on Nvidia’s GF110 graphics processor with 512 CUDA cores, 384-bit memory bus and 1.5 GB of memory. The clock frequencies are increased up to 815 MHz GPU, 1,640 MHz shader and 4,100 MHz GDDR5. Otherwise, video outputs are visible for two DVIs and a Mini HDMI 1.4. Thanks to the water cooling, no extra slots are blocked.

At the same time, Zotac releases the water cooling system in a separate package (Omni Upgrade Kit) that fits all Geforce GTX 580s that follow the reference design. However, price and sales start are still unknown.
