B2C2 turns to Fireblocks to secure its OTC crypto-transactions

B2C2, a large liquidity provider for the cryptocurrency market, is now using the firewall solution from Fireblocks in order to secure over-the-counter transactions carried out on its service.

According to a press release shared with Cryptonaute, the British company B2C2 called on Fireblocks, a firm specializing in cryptocurrency security, to protect "billions of dollars in digital assets" and secure "more than 10,000 daily OTC transactions".

Founded in 2015 in London by Max Boonen, ex-trader at Goldman Sachs, B2C2 uses the Fireblocks API to more effectively execute important settlements for its institutional clients as well as to mitigate operational risks, including cyber attacks, internal fraud and human error.

We exceeded our goal thanks to the safety and speed that we were able to achieve with the environment Fireblocks, ”Said Robert Catalanello, USA director of B2C2.

Last year, Fireblocks, which already serves major players in the crypto industry such as Galaxy Digital and Genesis Global, has lifted $ 16 million with Fidelity and other investors.

We are delighted to support B2C2 by unlocking capital constraints in the cryptocurrency market, ”added Michael Shaulov, CEO and co-founder of Fireblocks.
