Last week, the head of the Ministry of Energy stated that the Bulgarian government sent a notification to the Russian side about its readiness to start negotiations.

“We are in touch with Gazprom and are trying to bring the negotiations to a positive conclusion and resume supplies on favorable terms for us. These are extremely difficult negotiations, it is not only about gas supplies, but also about payment terms within the framework of European restrictions,” he said. Christov to BNT TV channel.
