God of War hits PC on January 14 via Steam, will feature Nvidia Reflex and DLSS

After multiple rumors, Sony officially announced that God Of War will arrive on PC this January 14 through Steam and the Epic Games Store, with multiple exclusive features of the platform such as Nvidia Reflex and DLSS, making it clear that it is a port quite advanced that will get the most out of high-end PCs.

As detailed on its Steam page, the game will feature 4K textures, unlocked FPS, support for 21: 9 monitors, a variety of advanced graphics settings and configurations, improved screen space reflections (Ray-Tracing will not be supported), incorporation from GTAO and SSDO, and more. Additionally, Nvidia GPU users will be able to use DLSS to increase FPS, and Nvidia Reflex to reduce system latency.

Enter the Nordic domains
Kratos has left his revenge on the Olympian gods behind and now lives as a man in the realms of the Norse gods and monsters. In this cruel and unforgiving world you must fight to survive… and teach your son to do it too.

Take a second chance
Kratos becomes a father again. As the progenitor and protector of Atreus, a son determined to earn the respect of his father, Kratos must survive in a very dangerous world dominating and controlling the anger that has characterized him so much.

Travel to a dark and elemental world of fearsome creatures
This unmistakably new environment, with its own pantheon of creatures, monsters and gods, takes us from the marble columns of magnificent Olympus to the wild forests, mountains and caves of the pre-Viking Norse tradition.

Fight in physical and visceral combat
With a shoulder camera that brings the player closer to the action than ever before, God of War ™ fights are a reflection of the pantheon of Norse creatures that Kratos will encounter: great, tough and exhausting. The new primary weapon and new abilities maintain the spirit that defines the God of War saga and present a vision of conflict that renews the genre.

Unfortunately its requirements have not been published yet. It only indicates that Windows 10 64-bit and 80GB of available storage is required, although there is no information on what CPU, GPU and RAM will be necessary to get the best possible experience.

The game is already in pre-sale on Steam, and in Argentina it costs $ 4199, or approximately $ 6930 with taxes. Those who purchase the game in pre-sale will obtain the following benefits:

  • Death’s Vow armor sets for Kratos and Atreus
  • Exile’s Guardian Shield Skin
  • Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin
  • Shining Elven Soul Shield Skin
  • Dökkenshieldr Shield Skin
