How to Activate ‘Notification Reminder’ on Android? – Follow the steps

Undoubtedly, it is often necessary to add reminders on your mobile in order not to forget the things we must do. In turn, it is also possible to activate the so-called ‘Notification reminders ” on Android, something very useful for all those forgetful people. Please read the following information carefully.

What should I do to enable access to notifications?

If the notifications of an application do not appear, most of the time it is possible to activate them, but for this you will have to do a few configurations. The first thing to do is go to ‘Settings’ and then to the ‘Applications’ section. Inside ‘Applications’ look for the application in which you want to activate notifications.

Once you press on the app you want to configure, scroll down to the ‘Application settings’ section and notice that the ‘Notifications’ option is set to ‘Allowed’. On the other hand, if you want to deactivate the notifications of an application, you will simply have to deactivate the option of ‘Show notifications’.

What are the periodic notifications alerts for?

Regular alerts can be very useful so that no notification is passed on your cell phone. It is especially useful if you need to reply to messages or perform actions in a certain amount of time. If you activate the alerts or notification reminders on Android, you will be able to see the notification again and act in case you have forgotten it.

How can I activate a reminder for notifications on my cell phone?

Unlike sending reminders or plans on Facebook or other similar methods, the process of activating notification reminders involves a series of steps. Being more specific, the following steps are what you must follow to properly activate notification reminders on your Android mobile.

Accessibility menu

The settings related to the notification reminders are made from the Android accessibility menu. To enter this section, open the ‘Settings’ section of your Android mobile. After the above, scroll down to ‘Accessibility’ and then tap ‘Notification reminders’ or on ‘Advanced settings’ if the previous option does not appear.

Once you are inside ‘Notification Reminders’ activate them, in this way you will receive periodic alerts so you don’t miss any of your app notifications. In any case, you can make other settings by fully customizing this section.

Select reminder time interval

The first setting you should do is the interval for the reminders. By default it will be set to 3 minutes, but you can choose between 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes.

Select the option that suits you best and configure the rest of the reminder function settings. However, we recommend activating the 10 minute option, as putting in three or 5 minutes could be tiring for some people.

Choose the apps

The last option we have is to select the applications or functions that will have the notification reminder.

By default it will be configured in ‘Missed calls and messages’, but you can configure all the applications installed on your system if you click on ‘Selected applications’After the above, select one by one the applications in which you want to have this function activated.

How can I remove a reminder from notifications?

Undoubtedly, this function is very useful, but it can become annoying after a while. Fortunately, you can remove the notification reminder by accessing ‘Settings’, ‘Accessibility’ and then selecting ‘Advanced settings’. Within the advanced settings, select ‘Notification reminder’ and disable it. In any case, doing this will completely disable the feature.

If, on the other hand, you want to deactivate the notification reminder in some applications, just click on ‘Selected applications’ and only activate those in which you want the reminder of notifications. Ignore all the apps you don’t want to receive reminder messages from.

In addition to all the information from before, it is also possible to create reminders in Windows, in this way you will be aware of the notifications / tasks that you must perform. Without a doubt, all of the above is very useful for those persons who tend to forget things.
