Note: Once the metadata is removed, you may not be able to verify on your phone that it was actually removed (for some reason my Samsung Galaxy did not offer me the “Details” option, mentioned earlier, to see the exif of the photo). However, if you transfer that photo to your PC, you will be able to verify that the exif information has been deleted.

Perhaps the most sensitive information within the exif of a photo is the location where it was taken.
