How to add, change or delete keyboard layout in Windows 11
Windows 11 allows you to add multiple keyboard layouts and switch between these layouts according to your requirements. You can write in any language you want and instantly switch to another. If you no longer want a particular design and it saves the space you use, you can even delete it. All of this is possible with a few simple steps.
This article explains in detail how you can add a different keyboard layout on your Windows, switch between keyboard layouts, and remove layouts that are no longer needed.
How to add keyboard layouts
Paso 1: Press WIN and me keys together to launch the Settings app. Click on the Time and language tab on the left side and in the right side, click on language and region.
Paso 2: Under the Preferred languages section, click the 3 horizontal points icon associated with your default language.
Paso 3: Click on Language options in the expanded menu.
Paso 4: Now Travel all the way down to find the section Keyboards. Click on Add a keyboard button there.
Paso 5: You can scroll through the list of keyboard layouts and choose the one you want.
That is all. If you look back at the Keyboards section, you will see that your new keyboard layout has now been added.
How to change the keyboard layout
Now that you have added your new keyboard layout, you can easily switch between the available keyboard layouts.
For that, click on the Input indicator in the lower right corner of the taskbar. From the expanded menu of available keyboard layouts, choose the keyboard layout you want to switch to.
Once you choose a keyboard layout, you can start typing using your chosen layout.
How to remove keyboard layouts
Follow the steps below to delete a keyboard layout.
